Sierra Club, Hawai`i

Chapter Contacts

Because of your support, the Sierra Club, Hawai`i Chapter has become the largest and most effective grassroots environmental advocacy organization in Hawai`i. We have accomplished many long-standing goals: passing legislation to support state parks from the hotel tax, implementing a "bottle bill" to reduce litter and increase recycling, protecting wild coastline, requiring a set percentage of our energy come from clean, indigenous sources, and more.

The Hawai`i Chapter is actively working to reduce the impacts of global climate change by encouraging the development of clean renewable energy, reducing the use of fossil fuels, and ensuring our fragile native habitat is protected from harm.

Interested in helping out?  Please volunteer and indicate whether you would like to assist with lobbying efforts, serving an advisory capacity, or being an outings leader.  Or sign up for our Action Alerts to stay abreast of events as they occur.
