Sierra Club members aged 18 through 30 years, and anyone from the community in that age range, are invited to an open public meeting to help organize their own activity section within the Sierra Club, Hawaii Chapter.
Come to Washington Intermediate School's Cafetorium (South King and Punahou Streets in Honolulu) Tuesday, August 6, 1996 at 7:00 PM. Goals and objectives will be proposed with the help of a professional facilitator; a task force will be elected to draft bylaws and a structure.
A second public meeting to approve and/or amend the task force's work will be held Tuesday, September 17, 1996 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Sierra Club membership is not required to participate in this formation process which is being underwritten by the Hawaii Service Trip Program (HSTP) of the Sierra Club, Hawaii Chapter.
