Hokulia Development
An Arizona developer, in partnership with Japan Airlines,  is in the process of building a gated community of 750 luxury houses, two golf courses, Beach Club with fresh and saltwater pools and casual dining, Clubhouse with restaurants, Members Lodge with 60 double master-suite residences, and world-class spa - all on historic lands immediately adjoining Keopuka to the north.....

The Hokulia Development has:

  • TWICE  dumped dirt runoff into the pristine Class AA water killing the coral offshore.
  • desecrated the cultural legacy of the area, including burial remains.
  • destroyed scenic vistas.
