We work to protect the environment in many ways:

Hold monthly meetings to discuss local environmental issues
- Establish action plans to improve identified issues
- Conduct hikes and outings all over Maui
- Educate the public and our elected officials
- Lobby for important legislation such as:
- Creation of La Perouse Bay National Seashore
- Creation of a North Shore Heritage Park
- Coral reef preservation
- Smart growth (well planned growth that minimizes impacts on the environment)
- Take legal action when necessary
