Truly an independent film, self-financed by first-time director Stephen
Strout, and produced by seasoned television producer Jessica Kelly,Revolution Green takes an uncompromised and
revealing look at the energy crossroads America faces today through
the lens of independent cinema. Based on a true story, the film
follows the lives of Bob and Kelly King, a Maui-based couple whose
pioneering vision created America’s first sustainable biodiesel
refinery in 1996.
In the film,
the audience is swept up in several of the most important flashpoints
in America's race for energy independence, exploring complex and
important issues in a detailed and timeless visual style. The power
of individual choice knows no bounds. The people in this film have
made important choices in their lives that can benefit us all.Revolution Green is part of that wave of

will embrace the potential of a truly, sustainable culture. Shot
entirely on location in Hawaii, California, Oregon, Nevada,
Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Illinois, Revolution
Green proves once again that taking risks with

imagined.
